The Interstate 35W bridge spanning the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, Minnesota collapsed during rush hour traffic on Wednesday, August 1. As of this report 2 days later, 5 are confirmed dead and 79 injured. Recovery efforts continue as divers still search for submerged, crushed vehicles.
Investigators on the scene blame the collapse on structural deficiency and suggest it might take as long as a year to find out the exact cause. I can tell you right now what caused it. I can also give you a possible contributing factor you could never imagine. No, it has nothing to do with the 40 year old bridge being packed with bumper to bumper traffic at the time.
Before going any further, just consider for a moment the last sentence above. Does it seem logical that such a massive amount of traffic would result in only 5 deaths?
We have, in my opinion, a government with zero credibility. I do not accept at face value anything the government or its controlled media says, especially anything to do with numbers. If a government agent gives me the time of day, I want a second opinion.
I may be wrong, but the declaration of 5 dead and 79 injured, for some reason, just doesn't sound right. I would be more inclined to believe that the 79 figure referred to the number of dead. But I'll suspend judgement for a little while. Maybe they're just being cautious. Maybe the plan is to recover all the submerged vehicles and issue a corrected number.
I can't help but think, however, of some of the other numbers that turned out to be wrong. Deliberately wrong. Innocent Iraqis, for example, that we managed to liberate from their lives in Fallujah - estimated to be in the neighborhood of 600. Somewhat less than the 6,000 actual deaths claimed by the other side.
Another interesting number is the 3,600 or so American deaths in Iraq. No one will ever know how many Americans died in Iraq and Afghanistan, but I understand a top secret report was recently sent from the Pentagon to the White House, indicating actual American deaths to be almost 21,000.
I have no way of knowing whether or not such a report actually exists, but that number sounds a lot more logical than the 3,000 figure which never seems to change very much, despite increased reports of American casualties. Isn't it wonderful to have a government you can trust?
Getting back to the bridge, it should be obvious why it collapsed. It was old. It was cracked and corroded. It wasn't well maintained. Why? No money. Where did the money go? I'll tell you in a minute. But first, here's an explanation of the collapse you'll never see or hear on Fox Fairy Tale News. Which, by the way, now has a legitimate tragedy to divert our attention with for awhile, instead of manufactured so-called terrorist alerts.
Russian writer Sorcha Faal, writing for WhatDoesItMean.Com, reports that Russia's Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics in Irkutsk picked up a massive ultra low frequency (ULF) signal coming from the exact latitude and longitude as the Minneapolis bridge - at the exact moment it collapsed!
Russian military experts speculate that the disaster was caused by an acoustic weapon, used by the US military, operating from the US acoustic weapons research organization at Augsburg College, located less than a mile from the 35W bridge collapse in minneapolis.
Coincidence? I don't think so. In this case I tend to go along with the Russians further speculation that the United States could quite possibly be continuing its history of using its own weapons on its own citizens. For "research" purposes.
Whether or not the above is true is anybody's guess. I believe it is a very valid possibility. Maybe our controlled mainstream media will see fit to discuss the subject, but don't hold your breath. The chances of that happening are slim to none.
Getting back to where the money went, let me give you 3 figures - 3 Magic Numbers - that might explain everything.
1.6 Trillion Dollars: A 2005 engineering estimate to repair our deteriorating infrastructure. We have bridges all over the country in the same or worse shape than the one that just collapsed. But here, in Super Power America, we can't seem to find the money.
We don't seem to have any problems in finding a spare 20 Billion Dollars to offer as a weapons package to the oil-rich Saudis. Or another 30 Billion Dollars for Israel! Or another Billion Dollars to build the biggest embassy in the world in Baghdad. Or any number of other criminal enterprises.
While our infrastructure crumbles. While our education system falls further and further behind. While our health care system is the laughing stock of the world. While our wounded returning servicemen wander homeless in the streets - or if not too brain damaged, sent back into battle with a handful of Prozac in their pockets. The treatment of our servicemen is a national disgrace!
1.6 Trillion Dollars: Estimated total cost of the Iraq war, so far costing 650 Billion Dollars. How do you find the money to fix a few bridges when you need 2 Billion Dollars a week to fight the war in Iraq? ?That's 2 Billion Dollars. A week!
And for that 2 Billion Dollars a week, the Iraqis are lucky to get 1 hour of electricity a day from "Super Power" America. And no running water, or waste treatment. Quite a few years ago, as a young sailor in the US Navy, I spent a little time in the Iraqi city of Basra. What I remember most about that experience was the heat. It was 115 degrees. Can you imagine what it must be like to try to live in 115 degree weather? Without electricity? Without air conditioning? Without running water? The Iraqis have good reason to long for the good old days of Saddam Hussein.
1.6 Trillion Dollars: Our cost, since 1973, in aid to Israel, estimated by Washington economist Thomas Stauffer. That's more than twice the cost of the Vietnam war. This estimate, by the way, is estimated to be at least a few hundred billion dollars low.
There you have it. 1.6 Trillion Dollars will take care of our infrastructure. Of course, we can just sit back and watch the rest of our bridges collapse. Think of all the nice heroic stories you'll get to see.
Or maybe we can do something about it. How about the war? Anybody know why we're there? Why can't we just call it quits and come home? I'll tell you why. We have become Germany in the thirties. Complacent. Indifferent. Unconcerned. Until it's too late to halt the rush to complete disaster. We'll leave Iraq when we receive permission to do so. One guess as to whose permission we need.
But wait! Maybe the next administration will bail us out. Really? Get a grip. It's all a fixed game. Didn't you see the recent report proving that every electronic voting machine can be hacked and manipulated to produce any desired result? I guess the "free press" forgot to mention that one. But then I guess they'd be a little embarrassed to tell you your vote no longer mattered. Rigged elections do not a democracy make.
I wouldn't count on the next administration for any improvement whatsoever. The only thing in doubt at this point is which country President Clinton and Vice President Obama plan to destroy next. Obama is salivating at the prospect of pulverizing Pakistan. Hey, Obama - here's a Newsflash: Pakistan has nukes, and they just might be tempted to use them.
So much for Pakistan. I imagine Hillary would want to concentrate on eliminating Syria and Iran. They have a lot of nerve, you know, in hiding our oil under their deserts. And then, of course, the rest of the hit list. Saudi Arabia. Kuwait. Wherever we're ordered to go.
Which brings us to Israel. So-called ally. So-called democracy. Thanks to Israel, millions are suffering and dying in the Mid East. Thanks to Israel, America is the most feared and hated country in the world.
What to do about Israel? The choices of an occupied nation are few and, apparently, there is little that can be done. Perhaps I should clarify that by saying that our bought and paid for (BPF) government lacks the will to do anything about it. So accept your fate. Recognize the fact that you are a puppet on a string, waiting to be jerked this way and that at the will of your Zionist puppet masters. Ready, willing and able to torture and destroy the rest of the world with your weapons of mass destruction.
Until the day happens when the rest of the world has enough. When the nuclear weapons of Russia and China rain down upon your heads, putting to an end, once and for all, this failed experiment in humanity.
But wait! There is another number that gives me hope. That number is 10,942. It's a number that should interest anyone who wishes to retain at least a semblance of freedom, and has decided not to resign themselves to perpetual war.
10,942 is the number of Americans who moved to Canada in 2006, a 30 year high. Why did they move? For any number of reasons - none of which involved dodging the draft. Then again, the possibility of another draft is not inconceivable. About 25,000 Americans a year moved to Canada during the 70s to escape the draft.
Expatriate Americans have different reasons today. They talk about feeling safer. And about free health care. And about politics and insecurity and Iraq and an increasing loss of freedom, and any number of other reasons. One new Canadian said, "They care about their people here."
When you really consider the possibilities of what could happen next here in America - Bush's new executive order giving him the power to seize without warning and without reason the entire assets of any US citizen, is just one example of an out-of-control government. It's comforting to realize there is some place you can go.
What can you expect there? I don't really know - but I intend to find out, before it's too late. One thing they don't have is a psychopathic president who is, more likely than not, ready to enforce his executive orders at the next real or manufactured "terrorist" attack, to institute Martial Law, to "suspend" all civil rights and liberties, to cancel all elections, and install himself absolute dictator for life.
Think it couldn't happen here? Democracy is disappearing right before your eyes. Our Constitution is all but dead. One of these days - one day soon - the concept of freedom in this once-free country will be little more than a fading memory.
What can you do? You could consider Canada as a temporary or permanent refuge - a place to escape to, to try to recapture a way of life we once enjoyed here. As the expatriate American mentioned before said, "They care about their people here."
If not Canada, consider some place else. Consider joining the quiet exodus. It might be advisable to consider one soon, because at some point, your abilities to move could be seriously curtailed.
There you have it. All the good news for today. Need any more advice? Start learning to speak Canadian. And stay away from bridges.
