How To Make A Successful Car Accident Claim

A car accident is never the same, similar but never the same. So logically a car accident claim can never be the same. Accidents do on the other hand occur in the millions every year, however making a successful compensation claim is difficult to get right if you don't make the right moves.

All Car Accidents Are Unique

There's one thing you need to beware of and that is accident 'management' companies either attending the scene or hospital. Theses are salespeople who work on a commission basis. You always have the good and the bad ones. Your job would be to distinguish the good from the bad.

99% of the time, these people will want your injury claim. Even if it means by-passing the small print! Another thing to note is, never listen to previous case success stories. What happened in the last case can't be guaranteed in your case. So don't fall for the money, settlement time or success stories.

Tips To Make A Successful Car Accident Claim

Car accident injury claims are major players in the 'personal injury litigation' market. They are straightforward as liability is admitted and vital information is exchanged at the scene. Information such as driver and insurance details, where the accident took place, when and how. If the police attend the scene, both parties will be given a producer, which states that the accident did occur. Further from there it will be logged on the national database for any inquires.

Now For The Secrets...

A 'quality' accident solicitor will explain the procedures in 'full' and then ask if you have any questions. Don't ever say NO! You could be falling into a trap.

Do ask these important questions such as...

o Will I get the 'whole' of my compensation? If yes... continue

o Will I need to pay a fee? If no... continue

o Do you recover costs from the other side (i.e. people at fault)? If yes... continue

o Would I need to pay anyone any money once my claim is settled? If no... proceed.

Passengers In A Car Accident

Passengers are innocent victims in a vehicle and can be from either, the fault or non-fault side. Passengers are not in-charge of the vehicle at hand. Therefore they can always make a successful compensation claim provided they have been to a hospital or visited a doctor.

A passenger can be in the form of, a husband, wife, child, cousin or a friend, at fault or not, they are entitled to claim compensation. They can make a claim against the people who have hit them whilst in the car.

Liability acceptance for an accident can cause confusion in itself. Do you think it was your fault?

Either way, you can still make a successful claim!

If on the other hand you are the driver and it is your fault, then you won't have any success of making a claim, however, the passengers will.

Payment Factors

There are circumstances where compensation payments are reduced for a number of reasons. The most common ones are for not wearing a seat belt, which marginally reduces the payment by 25%. Another major factor is for drink driving. If a passenger knowledgably knew the driver was unfit to drive due to excess intoxication, a reduction will be made accordingly.

There are cases where the driver admits part liability on a proportion basis. Generally it's 50/50, but it needs to be assessed by an investigator who will examine who's at fault before concluding. There are even some cases that result to 80/20.

Decision Dilemmas

You DO NOT need to hold back thinking it was your friend's or family's car. They pay insurance premiums every year to ensure if anything happens, they're covered and so are their passengers. You also need NOT WORRY if you were in a taxi, bus, train or any other form of public transport. You can still proceed with an accident compensation claim, as the drivers are insured, as is the taxi, train and bus driver. Companies pay thousands every year in insurance premiums to cover passengers for these unfortunate accidents and injuries.

On speaking to a quality car accident solicitor will you be able to eliminate doubts in your head about payments, fees and procedures!

Alternative Marketing Strategies Successful Entrepreneurs Must Consider

The hundreds of entrepreneurs, inventors and small businesses that approach my marketing consulting firm each year with new product ideas all confront the same, basic hurdles in attempting to achieve commercial success. Issue number one, they perceive, is how to fund the project. Issue number two, how to market their product.

Let's review the marketing options. Invariably, the bulk of the entities we work with approach marketing with the belief that they need to immediately place their product in big box retailers. This is a laudable long-term goal, but almost always would be the kiss of death for new products and startup companies.

Big box retailers are exceedingly demanding in requiring huge levels of logistical support. The technology required to simply process orders, data entry, shipping, receiving and billing is highly technical and specific to each chain. The software and systems required to communicate with these giants can be prohibitively expensive for new, small vendors. These are just the logistical hurdles. The sell-through and marketing challenges are much more difficult to conquer.

The alternative to running off to Best Buy or Wal-Mart is to utilize "guerrilla marketing" strategies to mitigate expense, lower risk and insure that the new product has a fair opportunity to achieve success. In recent years we have begun to use a "backdoor strategy" to push products into big box store distribution without confronting the up-front challenges that are so daunting for new companies.

Here is an example. Recently we had a dentist approach our consulting firm with a very novel stylized toothbrush. He had deduced from his dental practice that people typically did not brush for three minutes, twice daily, as recommended by the American Dental Association. They really did not know how long they brushed, but the gum and tooth problems he was confronting in his patients indicated they were not brushing enough each day. His new toothbrush was cleverly designed to address this deficiency in oral wellness.

The dentist typically wanted us to create a marketing strategy for the toothbrush that would place the units on mass-market store shelves for the launch. We explained the difficulties, risks and expenses involved in such a strategy and why he should consider alternatives. This was when we described the "backdoor" option.

Big box chains have local and regional management structures. Most people believe that all new items are purchased through home office buyers or merchants. For example, Bentonville, AK is the home office for Wal-Mart. Troy, MI is the buying office for K-Mart. JC Penney is bought out of Plano, TX. Walgreen is located in Deerfield, IL. The Kroger Company is located in Cincinnati, OH.

Each of these, and other national chains in every retail category, have local managers that have the authority to bring product into their doors on a local basis. Few people realize this. These local, regional managers can cut purchase orders and by-pass the national buying process that can be so vexing.

We packaged the novel toothbrush, had our graphic designer create a pop-up shelf display with a header card, created sales collateral and presented the item to the regional manager of a national drug store chain. He was responsible for 36 stores in two southeastern states. He loved the item and even commented, "we love to show the home office that they miss on too many neat products". We left the meeting with a hand written purchase order for 144 pieces of the toothbrush for each store.

To support the launch of the product we wrote copy for a 30-second television spot with a tag for the drug chain. We went to the local cable television studio and they produced the spot for nothing, in lieu of our buying a small cable spot schedule. The dentist, in his smock, was the on air expert detailing the product.

The product was shipped to the 36 individual stores and the regional manager had forwarded a merchandising directive to each store manager. He advised the product was scheduled for delivery, end cap display was to be provided and that there was cable television buy to support the launch. We hired a college student to get to the stores and make sure the merchandise was prominently displayed and rotated.

Every few days we checked in with the regional manager and he provided sales updates. Within a week, he was able to project turnover and re-order needs. As soon as we secured re-orders, we had the regional manager call the home office with his sell-through report. Within two months we were invited into the buying office for a corporate presentation and to plan a national product launch.

We have used this "backdoor approach" a number of times with different products in different retail channels. It works. Local managers love to take successes, their discoveries, to the home office to prove their mettle. Our clients are in a much stronger position to negotiate terms with national retailers when we have already proven sell-through success on local, test market basis. It also enables us to extrapolate chain wide sales projections based on hard numbers, not best guess assumptions. This is a powerful strategy and many more entrepreneurs should take advantage of this approach that mitigates their exposure.

Licensing, bootstrapping, partnering, joint venturing and receivable financing/factoring are other alternative strategies that can be employed to launch new products. The most successful entrepreneurs overturn every stone to find the one route that will get their idea into play. Keeping all options open is essential if you are to realize your goals.

Why You Must Have Effective Systems to Become Successful in the Insurance Or Financial Profession

When you consistently deliver exceptional service to your clients that meets or exceeds their expectations, they'll become your advocates and buy from you for years to come. The key word is "consistently." This means you must do it every time a client does business with you.

Most agents have a hard time just meeting their clients' expectations, let alone exceeding them. And for the few who actually do meet their clients' expectations, they don't (or don't know how to) do it consistently.

For example, one time they may meet their clients' expectations. Another time they may fall short. The third time they may exceed them. The fourth time they may meet them. The fifth time they may fall short again. And this cycle repeats itself.

Guess what negative effect this inconsistency will have on your clients?

Inconsistency will ruin your credibility and drive your clients crazy, forcing them to stop buying from you!

In your experience, I'm sure you've dined at restaurants where they served inconsistent food quality or rendered inconsistent service, or both, haven't you?

Didn't this inconsistency in quality or service annoy you somewhat (or maybe even a lot) because you didn't know what to expect the next time you go to that particular restaurant? Perhaps, to avoid getting disappointed again, you may have stopped patronizing that restaurant completely, right?

Unfortunately, this situation is not unique to the restaurant industry. I bet you have discontinued doing business completely with some other organizations because of their inconsistency in quality, service, or both, haven't you?

Guess what?

Your own clients would do the same thing.

That's right, when receiving inconsistent quality or service, or both, from you or your agency, many or all of them will stop doing business with you... sometimes forever!

The question you may be asking right now is...

"How Do I Consistently Meet My Clients' Expectations?"

Well, you do this by setting up systems in your business.

In short, a system is a way of doing things by following a set of rules or procedures that produces predictable and consistent results every time.

To put it another way...

A System Allows You To Consistently Deliver A Minimum Standard Or Level Of Performance!

After you've set up a system or a series of systems to at least meet your clients' expectations, you'll be able to deliver a great level of service every time they do business with you.

Let me now share with you a business that operates on incredible systems to help you fully understand the importance and appreciate the enormous benefits that systems can provide.

Have you been to McDonald's lately?

Here's a multi-billion dollar international business operated, efficiently and profitably, by a bunch of teenagers who are no more intelligent or disciplined than the teenage children you know.

Have you ever wondered how these kids could prepare food that tastes exactly the same and provide the same level of service every single time - regardless of which McDonald's restaurant you go to, whether in California, New York, England, Australia, or Japan?

The answer is, you guessed it, they have SYSTEMS to perform the various activities in their business. And because these systems work so well, any teenager can operate them and the results will be the same every time.

Whenever you go to a McDonald's restaurant, you always know what to expect. In other words, what the food is going to taste like and what kind of service you'll get.

Here's what's so amazing about McDonald's. Although the food isn't the absolute best, everyday, in the United States alone, more than twenty-three million people eat at McDonald's.

So, if the food is not that good (and the prices are not much cheaper than the other restaurants in the area, some of which may offer better food), why do so many people eat at McDonald's every day?

The main reason is McDonald's offers their customers a very important benefit that most other restaurants don't.

Can you guess what it is?

You're right, if you said...

Control!

Because their customers get consistent quality of food and service each time they visit McDonald's, they feel like they're in control.

Can the same thing be said about your agency?

Whenever clients do business with you, do they feel like they're in control of the situation?

For example, when you tell them you'll get back to them within 24 hours, do you actually reply to them within the time promised? Or, when customers ask two of your employees the same question about a claim, will both of your staff members give them the same answer? Or, if one of the things you do to make your clients feel special is to send them a birthday card on their birthday, then does each one of your clients get a birthday card every year?

If you answered, "no" to any of these questions, it means you don't have effective systems in place to provide your clients with control.

Why is it so important for your clients (and also for you and me) to have control or to feel like they're in control?

Well, in this beautiful world of ours, there are so many things that simply don't work the way we want them to. Most people are experiencing a lot of discomfort and frustration in their daily lives. There are so many things that are out of their control.

Let me share with you some examples:

How do you feel when you go to a restaurant where you have to wait for over an hour when the hostess told you it would only take about fifteen minutes?

Out Of Control!

How do you feel when the mechanic told you your car would be ready by noon but it wasn't when you got there?

Out Of Control!

How do you feel when your medical bill is twice as much as the amount you were quoted?

Out Of Control!

How do you feel when someone cuts you off?

Out Of Control!

How do you feel when your daughter tells you she's going to drop out of college?

Out Of Control!

How do you feel when an employee calls in sick on the day you're leaving for your vacation?

Out Of Control!

How do you feel when the rental car you reserved at the airport was given to someone else and there was no more available?

Out Of Control!

How do you feel when the check your customer promised to send two weeks ago, arrived two months later?

Out Of Control!

How do you feel when you were put on hold for five minutes when you were told, "Just a second?"

Out Of Control!

And how do you feel when you were transferred to another person after you've just been on hold for five minutes?

Out Of Control!

As you can see, there are so many situations that can make you feel "out of control."

The same thing is true with your clients. So if they're going to give you their hard-earned money, they expect to be in control of the situation.

Because your clients rarely get to experience the feeling of being in control from other agents or businesses, it'll make you stand head and shoulders above everyone else!

They'll be so pleased if they always get consistent and predictable results, which meet or better yet, exceed their expectations each time they do business with you.

Also, after you've set up effective systems in your business, you'll be able to produce consistent and predictable results every time.

To maximize your profits and to create a business that will allow you to work the number of hours you want, you need to systematize your daily activities, so they're done the same way every time.

If you want to build your million-dollar agency or practice, you must set up effective systems to perform the following functions:

1. Answer the phone.

2. Greet clients.

3. Process policies.

4. Provide quotes.

5. Follow up on quotes.

6. Resolve customer complaints.

7. Hire, train, evaluate, and compensate employees.

8. Submit proposals to your carriers.

9. Process claims.

10. Collect premiums.

11. Manage cash flow.

12. Build rewarding relationships with your carriers.

13. Thank clients for their business.

14. Astonish your clients several times a year.

15. Renew policies.

16. Sell multiple policies.

17. Track marketing campaigns.

18. Get an abundance of qualified leads.

19. Turn prospects into customers.

20. Convert customers into clients.

21. Transform clients into advocates.

22. Nurture clients.

23. Obtain referrals regularly.

Effective systems have made McDonald's the most profitable and successful restaurant chain in the world. And efficient systems can make your agency or practice one of the most profitable and successful insurance operations in the nation.

What Does it Take to Be Successful in Today's Corporate America? Is it Different Than 20 Years Ago?

Has anything changed during the last decade?

I do not think so. The following paragraphs summarize what I told an audience of recently MBA graduates at their 11th Annual Conference of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs in November 10, 2000. At the time, I was the President of Phelps Dodge Industries with responsibility for an operating group comprised of 50 plants in 27 countries engaged in the manufacture and sale of engineered products for the electrical, communications and automotive industries. The Group had revenues of $2 billion and employed over 5,000 people. After early retirement in 2002 and 35 years of corporate experience I became an entrepreneur. Bottom line, nothing has changed.

This is what I said then and what I would say today:

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I am delighted to be with you on this special day. A few minutes ago my fellow panel members talked to you about the challenges and opportunities that you will face in this new era of e-commerce, globalization and high technology. These are indeed very exciting times! You will be part of a generation of leaders that will take our businesses to uncharted territories. It was only 30 years ago that I was sitting in a room like this wondering what it would take to be successful in Corporate America. Little did I suspect that one day I would be discussing with you my impressions on what is a very complex subject with no "clear cut" answers. My bottom line advice to you is this: "Business mirrors life. There will be highs, lows, compromises and sacrifices in your quest for success. Approach it as a journey and use your head, your heart and your gut to guide your decisions along the way." I am not going to spend any time stressing the need to be technically proficient in your field of expertise. That is the price of admission. Rather, I will share with you a simple model that has worked for me as I have progressed in the pursuit of my professional dreams. I refer to this model as my "Seven Ps"

Plan
Preparation
People
Passion
Proactive
Partnerships
Performance

P number one - Plan

Planning your future is like putting together a strategic plan. A Company defines its vision and you must do the same. For each of us, that vision is more like a dream. I had a dream and I am sure each of you has one. But you can't achieve that dream without following a disciplined and systematic process. What is your dream? What will it take to achieve it? Are you willing to make the personal sacrifices that may be required? Having the intent is not enough. It is the combination of will and vision that eventually allows you to reach your full potential.

And this takes me to the second P - Preparation

Education and experience are two critical factors for success. You must be obsessed with learning. Learning is a never-ending process. Some learning opportunities will be provided by your company but that alone is not enough. You must take the initiative and be in control of your professional development. And this requires significant commitment and personal sacrifice. I'm an avid reader and the number of books and magazines I read each year has a direct correlation to the number of air miles I travel. I firmly believe that to become a well-rounded businessperson you must expose yourself to a diverse range of subjects and viewpoints. I generally encourage my key managers to read between 3 and 4 newspapers a day, and 20 to 30 publications each month covering a wide range of topics: economics, finance, demographics, social issues and politics, management and technology. No single one of these topics should be considered in isolation and much less taken as the gospel. And if you're waiting for the one good book that will guide your entire career, forget about it...You are the author of this book and it is work in process. Instead, consider everything you read as an opportunity to germinate new ideas that you can apply to your business challenges. I can tell you from my own experience that even at this stage of my career I learn something everyday. Failure to do so translates into what I refer to as "intellectual obsolescence." None of us can afford that. The second component of preparation is experience. You are all probably familiar with the expression that there is no substitute for experience. In my professional life, I have never turned down an assignment that would increase my know-how of a process, a country, a company, a culture or any other subject essential to my future ability to accept more responsibilities.

P number three - People

There is a business adage that says that you will pass the same people in an organization on your way up as on your way down. I know this to be true from personal experience. And always remember that you are only as good as the people you work for, the people you work with and the people who work for you. Never abuse or misuse your power. You can be demanding but you must also be fair. And never forget to act on what is right and not on who is right. You also must mentor and develop the people in your organization. A decade ago, mentors were the "seasoned old guys" in the executive suite, and mentorees were the MBAs fresh out of school. Today thanks in large part to the rapid acceleration of technology development, mentoring is more diverse. It's not unusual, for example, to find a 25-year-old technology guru mentoring a group of seasoned leaders. Look for every opportunity to be both a mentoree and a mentor at every stage of your career. As I said, there is always more to learn, and as you advance, your experience can help others succeed. In addition to my mentoring role within my company, I have been a mentor and a lecturer at the University of Miami MIBS Program for several years. You would be amazed at what I have learned from your contemporaries both one-on-one and in the classroom. Transferring your knowledge to others is a very rewarding experience that can be accomplished at all levels of the organization.

P number four - Passion

Leading an organization requires you to be Passionately Committed. I have never met anyone who excels at anything that does not possess an inner fire. Ordinary efforts will only produce mediocre to average results. Drive and passion produce outstanding results. Sometimes, success leads to a false sense of comfort. Often, some of the best people lose their passion. When that dies, it is difficult if not impossible to sustain excellence. So, I encourage you to work hard to feed and fuel your inner passion.

P number five - Proactive

Today's rate of business change also will require you to be Proactive. You will be required to seize challenges and opportunities. Speed and innovation are the keys to staying ahead. Quick victory is the aim of competitive action. You need to move fast and move first. This does not mean that you will always do things right but you must always do what is right. You must have the intellectual honesty to acknowledge that some solutions or actions did not work. If they didn't, try something else. As President Roosevelt once said: "It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something". Proactivity allows you to stay one step ahead and this is worth more than any other competitive advantage.

Successful executives also rely on the next "P" - Partnerships

In today's world you cannot do it alone. You'll need to forge alliances to offset your weaknesses, and to bring together diverse geographic and business cultures. You'll also need to harness the commitment of your team to get the job done. And let me emphasize the word TEAM. This would be a natural point for me to offer some anecdotes about the power of business partnerships, but instead, I'd like to put the emphasis on the partnership that you now have, or that you may have in the future, with your spouse, your significant other and your family. All of the business demands on your time will make it increasingly difficult for you to create a balance between your personal and professional life. I must confess that this is the area in which most of us fail, at least from time to time. And I am no exception. My wife Maria, who is here with me tonight, gets all the credit for providing the on-the-ground, day-to-day stability that our young sons needed in their formative years. But she, and my sons Manuel and Carlos held me accountable for being present at the important events, and there were no excuses accepted if I failed to pick up the telephone and check in each morning while they had breakfast, and again each evening to hear about their big events of the day. There is no right or wrong answer about how to calibrate the balance needed to make that partnership succeed. You will learn with time how and when to compromise. But you must learn how to do it sooner rather than later. Our families are often thought of as being in the background. But make no mistake about it. It is only through their support that we have a chance to advance in our business endeavors.

P number seven - Performance

Performance is critical. You must focus your efforts in results not politics. It is not how well you play the game or how much effort is applied. The end result is to create value for all your stakeholders. You'll also find that success is a constantly moving target. You will never be able to sit back and relax. It is true that you are only as good as what you deliver today. Get used to it. And remember this is driven more by the demands of the customer and the marketplace, than it is by your manager's expectations. Learn to stretch your expectations of yourself. At some point in your career you will become "good." But don't let good get in the way of becoming "great." If your quest is to be the best there is no room for complacency. You must aim higher and higher. Today's excellent performance will be average tomorrow if you do nothing to get better. Make continuous improvement a part of your life. Remember, becoming the best at what you do does not happen by accident. You must continuously work hard at it with passion and intensity. When you sum the total of your efforts you will achieve outstanding performance. From time to time, I hear managers describe someone else's good performance as "luck." But long-term business success is not "luck" unless you define luck as the point at which opportunities and preparations converge. You must be always ready to take advantage of an opportunity.

In fairness to this audience, I suspect I could not adequately address your interests unless I also speak about the subject of diversity. Be proud of who you are and where you come from. Use it to your advantage, but don't take advantage. Being a minority does not entitle you to anything. Each of us must earn what we have, and must maximize what we have been blessed with. I believe that diversity in a very broad sense is strength. It is in our differences, not our similarities that the most dynamic, exhilarating and life-changing experiences can be found. Allow your heritage to give you clarity of self -- to know who you are and what motivates you. But let your brain, and your guts and your heart - not your gender or the color of your skin -- lead you through life. As the global leaders of the future you must learn how to balance your technical strengths with the many cultural requirements of the people who you encounter.

You also must learn to be diplomats. I say diplomats because to become a global leader you must possess a keen understanding of the history, geography, religion and politics of the local economies in which you will conduct business. You must learn to be flexible, resilient and adaptive. Respect for local, country or regional culture is and will continue to be essential elements for success. Only "global leaders" will be able to strike the proper balance. As a member of this new breed of leaders you must be able to conduct business in at least two languages and let me emphasize the word "conduct."

The ability to read, write and speak a language is not sufficient to fulfill the requirements of the future. You must understand the culture and be sensitive to cultural differences. You must be able to create a seamless bond. A case in point. English has become and will continue to be the universal language of the Internet, but the cultures of the English-speaking world don't represent a universal culture. Economist Milton Friedman says it is now possible for a company located anywhere, using resources from anywhere, to produce a product anywhere that can be sold to customers everywhere. What Mr. Friedman does not tell you is that you cannot build the plant, purchase the resources, or market the product if you do not relate to each culture individually on its own merits and within its cultural paradigms. This is a most important and difficult point for global leaders to accept when learning to work with different cultures: A single paradigm does not work universally. You by virtue of your Hispanic background have the best of both worlds and an excellent foundation to accommodate the best of various cultures and to create new ways to lead business. You can make a difference. I went with confidence in the direction of my dreams and lived the life I always imagined for myself and my family. Now, it is your turn to create and follow your dreams. Thank you for your kind attention.

How To Produce Successful Television Commercials

Do you often get fascinated with an ad on the television? Do you often wish if you could produce a creative and successful ad as such to help your business grow? The next time you see a fascinating advertisement on the TV, try to figure out what are the things that you like the most about that ad. Think about the style, the tag line, idea and the overall presentation of the ad that makes it stand out from the rest of the ads. If you view the same ad over and over again, you may notice that what makes that ad successful is probably not the big budget, but the creative and innovative ideas used.

Producing an ad is not that a difficult task, but producing the best ads is indeed difficult. Presently, making television commercials has become really simple with the availability of ad production tools. If you have sufficient knowledge of the production process, it can be quite easy to produce television commercials. But, in order to make an impact on the audience, you need to be creative and given below are some tips which can help you make the best ads.

Identify Your Target Audience

One of the first things to do before making an ad is to identify your target audience. Once you have determined this and have a clear idea about your target audience, it will become easy to choose the message that you would like to convey and also work on a style that will influence them. Your task can become even easier if you go by the market data which is available on a number of websites today.

Objective

The very next step towards producing the best ad is to establish your objective. To be successful in whatever you are doing, you must understand what your objective is and what you are trying to achieve with the ad. Whether you are trying to focus on the price of the products that you are offering, free services offered by your business or the quality of the products, you must have a clear objective.

Budget

It is also important to set a budget that you can afford. Remember, it is creativity that will determine the success of your commercials and not the big budget. If you are able to reach your target audience through local channels, you should not shell out loads of money on making ads for the national channel.

Desire to Be Successful - The Truth is Purpose Produces Passion

Last week I was doing a seminar with a group of people from a fortune five hundred company when a woman in her mid thirties approached me and asked what she could do to motivate her teen age son. She said that he is fourteen and spends most of his free time watching television and playing video games. She told me that she's tried a number of things to motivate him but nothing has worked. She described him as extremely unmotivated. I went on to tell her my view of people who seem to be unmotivated.

"I don't believe that there are unmotivated people. They are just people with a disempowering purpose."

I have watched thousands of people go from appearing unmotivated to becoming highly motivated when they discover their purpose for living. When a person discovers their reason for living enthusiasm, excitement and passion begin to flow. Then objectives, goals, plans and strategies start manifesting.

The TRUTH of the matter is:

Purpose Produces Passion

If you want to live a passion filled life get a purpose. If you want to live each day with a burning heart get a purpose. If you want to wake up with enthusiasm, go through the day with excitement and finish the day knowing that you lived it to the full get a purpose.

A Purpose Driven Life is a Life That Flows With Passion.

I've watched apathetic students become passion filled scholars once they get a purpose. I've watched unenthusiastic athletes become fiery competitors once they get a purpose. I've watched mediocre workers become excellent producers once they discover their purpose.

Purpose has always, does always and will always produce passion. Every passion filled person I've ever met was purpose driven. Every organization with high morale was purpose driven. Every winning team I've ever coached or worked with was driven by their purpose.

Great companies, educational institutions, churches, sports teams, cities and nations are all led by purpose driven people whose purpose inspires the masses.

So if you desire to live an inspired life overflowing with passion. Discover your purpose for living. You have one. Everyone has one. Search for it! Seek it!

For it's worth more then all the gold in the world!

To Your Success!

FIFA World Cup's Top 5 Most Successful Nations

Soccer is serious business in most parts of the world, and nothing is taken more seriously than a team's performance in the World Cup. By no means scientific, this article attempts to rank the World Cup success of soccer's elite nations at the world's biggest sporting event.

1. Brazil

Without a doubt, any discussion about the most successful nations in World Cup history begins with Brazil. Having won a record 5 World Cup tournaments, the Brazilians are also the only team to have ever qualified for every World Cup since competition began in 1930. Brazil has produced some of the finest soccer players ever to grace the pitch. Soccer greats such as Pele, the only player to have ever won the World Cup 3 times, and Ronaldo, the current all time leading World Cup goal scorer, suited up for the Samba Kings.

2. Germany

Winning 3 World Cup's themselves, Germany, and West Germany before it, is slotted in at number two by virtue of having more final four finishes than any other team. It seems like in every tournament, even one's like the most recent 2010 World Cup where they weren't considered as contenders, Germany finds a way into the semi-finals. An excellent player development program and fantastic coaching combined with good structure and organization means that the German's should never be underestimated in international competition.

3. Italy

Even though the Italians have won 4 tournaments, they are slotted behind the German's by virtue of being much less consistent. Notoriously slow starters, the Italians are known for their fantastic defensive play and generally find their game as the tournament wears on. However, they are unpredictable, often struggling and are just as frequently eliminated in the early rounds of tournaments having reached the final four of the tournament fewer times than either Germany or Brazil.

4. Argentina

The other Latin American powerhouse, Argentina has won the World Cup 2 times and remains hugely influential on international soccer. While not obtaining the same level of international success as Brazil, they are usually grouped with their neighbors as perennial favourites at every tournament. Like Brazil, the Argentine's strength lies in the individual talent and skill of the players they produce, with the perfect example being the current world player of the year, Lionel Messi.

5. Uruguay

By virtue of having won two World Cup's (albeit, a long, long time ago in a far, far different era), Uruguay finds itself in the number 5 spot on this list. While the Uruguayans have been silent for what seems like an eternity, their recent journey to a fourth placed finish at the 2010 World Cup has proven that they still have ability to be successful on the international level.

Honorable Mentions:

The Netherlands

Possessing a vast legion of rabid fans from all corners of the globe, The Netherlands are commonly referred to as "the best team to have never won the World Cup". The Dutch managed to reach the semi-finals 3 times, most famously during the 1970's when The Netherlands' total football teams revolutionized the way the game was played.

Spain

Struggling at the international level until very recently, Spain is slowly cementing its place as the best team currently on the planet. However, its past failures and disappointments mean that the Spanish still have a ways to go before they can catch up to the level of achievement that characterize soccer's elite teams. With the current level of skill on the Spanish National team however, this perhaps won't take very long.
